ABC Alphabet Wall

My son Jake has just started learning his letters and I thought that an ABC wall in his playroom (full tour here) would be a perfect addition. To make the wall more playful, I really wanted the alphabet wall to have a variety of fonts, sizes and colors. The wall has been a huge hit so far with all of our toddler friends. But a wall like this doesn’t just have to reside in a playroom. It would also look great as nursery decor or in a kids room. You can also change the look and feel to fit any empty wall space in the house. Letter art is loved by adults too!

Here is where I found some of my letters:

B – Painted from Michael’s
H – Cardboard wrapped in yarn
I – Michael’s
N – Michael’s letter in empty frame
O – Amazon Toy Steering Wheel
Q – Chalkboard from Shabby Decor

W – LAX to YVR
X – Two rulers
Y – Hobby Lobby
– Edie’s Lab
Z – Mr. Woody

The best part about this alphabet wall project is that anyone could make wall art like this. It doesn’t require you to be a professional at DIY projects or crafting. The possibilities are endless.

  1. Thanks for stopping by Liz. Just checked out your awesome blog and immediately pinned your faux chalkboard medallion labels. What a great idea! Can't wait to see your other playroom updates!

  2. This is so neat and fun! I love the stripes on the 'Z'. Makes me think of an orange zebra. Wouldn't that be a sight?

I'm pinning. This would be so cute in a playroom!

  3. can you please tell me where you got the "R"

    thanks,
