What kid doesn’t love rocks? My little guy sure does, so I thought some painted rocks would be the perfect way to help him learn his numbers and how to count. On one side I painted numbers 1-10 and added dots and on the reverse side I just painted the number alone. Add a bag and now it’s easy to take these rocks on the go.
- Rocks – I collected mine at the beach, but you can also find them at a craft or dollar store
- Stencils – I used these Martha Stewart adhesive stencils
- Acrylic paint
- Small paint brush
- Fine black pen for outlining each number
- Optional – muslin bag, stamped
This looks like a perfect way to teach numbers! This will be great for my son. Stopping by from Frugal Crafty Home Blog Hop. Thanks for linking this up!
My son has been loving these rocks so I bet your son will too. Thanks for hosting your Frugal Crafty Home Blog Hop each week. It has been fun participating!

Awe, thanks Amy! I'm working on 2 more rock projects. I just can't seem to stop with them. It helps that rocks are a free craft supply :).
