I like to spray my jars with a all in one flat white paint before painting. This acts as a primer and base color.

Sketch your design on the mason jar. You can choose one of the example designs or make your own school supply themed jar!

Start by painting the large areas and solid colors, we'll add details after. Tip: to paint straight lines, use washi tape.

Once your base colors have dried you can start adding more details with paint markers.

Make sure your paint is dry then use a dull pencil to sketch out the face designs on the jars. If you make a mistake touch up with paint.

Use a black paint pen or Sharpie to outline your face and artwork. Use the construction paper to cut out a leaf to the apple.
